Can anyone help me answer if child diagnosed with "KAWASAKI SYNDROME" can transmit the desease to others? - kawasaki syndrome. more condition_symptoms

No, it is not contagious. There are no known specific cause of Kawasaki, but is not contagious, although most of the documents which I know is that cardiac hypertrophy, vascular inflammation, etc. The causes of symptoms are fever, petechiae, red eyes and the mouth dry, sometimes bleeding, peeling of the skin. mostly in children ... 2 years running. There are treatments that usually IV-Ig. can be solved by medication.
